We watched a total of three vehicles get pulled over MDW, all within 5 minutes of each other, for not wearing seatbelts (we were one of them). Understood it's the law, but we were only cruising Dune Drive in Avalon at a whopping 23 mph. Come to find out there are 134 law enforcement agencies receiving $798,350 in grant money this year to support a two-week seatbelt crackdown. Beware if you're in Avalon, North Wildwood, Wildwood, Wildwood Crest. More or less just curious how many others got pulled over that weekend.
