We just came back to Avalon for the season. We now see the electric poles that friends in both towns have been upset about. The poles are a disgrace, just like everyone we spoke to said. Here is what is peculiar. We went on Spout Off and agreed with the many comments that say these huge, ugly poles are a mistake. It is astonishing to see how many "thumbs up" there are in Spout Off for this project, which no one likes. The joke in town no matter who you talk to is, Avalon Borough's "friends and family program spouters" are repeatedly clicking in favor of it. The answer is underground!
