Trump has cut funds for the U.S. Agency for International Development by 83%. Researchers estimate that the cuts will lead to more than 14 million additional deaths globally over the next five years. Worse, among the 14 million are an estimated 4.5 million children under the age of 5. Even if the estimates are off by as much as 50%, that still means that more than 2 million children under the age of 5 will die. It's obviously of no concern to Trump or Vance or congressional Republicans, or to MAGAs. But they in fact will be responsible for the deaths of those children.
