For those of you who want to see the new metal electric poles come down, don't hold your breath. For one, it would be too expensive, two, it exposes Seven Mile Island to continued power outages and brown outs and three, take a look around. We aren't building one story, two bedroom bungalows anymore. Three story, five and six bedroom mansions with five baths, high-tech kitchens and entertainment centers require power and lots of it. The new poles may not remind us of the way we were, but they serve our homes the way we are.
