There have been a few spouts critical of the person who didn't know Prince and questioned the adulation he was posthumously receiving. That spouter is not alone. I am a worn rock and roll fan who grew up with Elvis and who came of age with the Beatles, the Stones, the Who and dozens of enduring sounds. While I certainly knew who Prince was, I admit I was never a fan and would not recognize one of his songs. Give the older spouter a break. By the way, Hendrix was a far better guitar player.
