There are multiple security measures in place to detect fraudulent mail-in ballots, including the Electronic Registration Information Center. There were a mere handful of fraudulent votes out of more than 159 million votes cast in the presidential election, proving that those measures work. No need for voter ID laws. Laws passed recently by some states are clearly intended to make voting more difficult for some citizens, if not to outright deny them their Constitutional right to vote. In any case, how could a physical ID card prevent fraudulent mail-in votes? It couldn't.
