Avalon / Stone Harbor - We certainly agree with the many Stone Harbor spouters who are unhappy with their library situation. A number of years ago, we faced similar problems and our mayor and council solved it by dropping out of the county library and starting our own. We now have one of the top libraries in the country. We would welcome Stone Harbor to partner with us; we now need more space. It would be a big win-win for all Seven Mile Island residents and taxpayers with much better facilities, services and programs, and more efficient use of tax dollars.
