Special prosecutor John Durham concluded his investigation into alleged ties between Russia and Trump's 2016 campaign by stating that the FBI "rushed" into its investigation of the matter and relied too much on raw and unconfirmed intelligence. Durham's report catalogs what he says were a series of "missteps" by the FBI and the Justice Department. However, the report falls far short of Trump's prediction that the "crime of the century" would be uncovered. In fact, when Durham's prosecutors took what was discovered to court, they lost the only two cases that they took to trial.
