Speaker Mike Johnson was asked about House Republicans running on lowering costs. There was no mention in Johnson’s answer of lowering prices. It is as if now that Republicans are the ones responsible for keeping their promises on inflation and prices, they suddenly don’t want to talk about those issues anymore. House Republicans have no answers except to falsely claim that tax cuts for the rich will lower grocery prices, so this is what the nation is going to get. Prices and costs are going to go up as Mike Johnson will continue to try to change the subject.
