Regarding the recent spout suggesting Avalon residents go back through the borough's website: Yes, there were notices advising about the upgrade and yes, some AHOLA meeting discussions. Fact is those notices were few and should have been sent directly to all property owners, not placed on a website. The last AHOLA meeting where ACE made a presentation, they did not tell the truth about the height and diameters of the poles. Our town borough officials should have insisted on ACE placing a replica of proposed poles so all could visually see what was in store.
