In the process of eliminating overhead wires to homes in Avalon a worse situation as arisen. To accomplish this our utility poles are strewn with PVC pipes with wires sticking out, wires sticking out of the ground, wires dangling from the poles and other unpleasant attachments that remind one of the wiring that you see in the slums of Calcutta. Often these poles are in front of a house across the street from the one where the wires were eliminated. This creates a look detrimental to the beauty of our town. Who is responsible for cleaning up these poles?
