This person sounds very angry, and I suspect a little jealous that he can't afford a house on the beachfront: "I'm angry that my tax dollars are going for beach re-filling, while more and more houses are being built on the beach front. Why should I pay for protecting houses built on beach front?" I cannot afford a house on the beach front, either. However, anyone with sense knows that it's the attraction of those barrier islands and beach front homes which support the economy of this county.
