For the person lamenting about the lack of a dog park in Avalon, here’s an idea. Fence your yard in and invite other people and their dogs, and you will have a convenient dog park that you and your dog can enjoy. I wanted the borough to put in a community pool at the 8th street recreation area for my kids to go on a hot summer day to meet up with friends and take swim lessons.. It looks like we both are disappointed. I guess I will have to fence in my yard and put in a pool.
