Perhaps counties and municipalities not willing to participate in moving toward 100% renewable energy shouldn't get state and federal funding for emergency relief, beach replenishment, or property buyouts, the next time we have a flood, beach erosion event, hurricane, or nor-Easter that was exacerbated by climate change.
