No modern president has been able to get a real grip on the border immigration crisis — don’t even know if you can call it a crisis since it’s been going on for so long. The answer is neither a wall or an open border. One thing we clearly need is revised immigration law that takes all this into consideration and provides economic support to the communities where these folks wind up. Additionally, our population is aging and we need immigrants to fill jobs. There's gotta be a way forward?
