More than 3.5 million Americans sent comments in support of the Clean Power Plan to the EPA. The plan is supported by the following groups and organizations, among others: American Academy of Pediatrics; American Heart Assn.; American Lung Assn.; Public Health Institute; The Clean Energy Group, a coalition of power companies; Green Latinos; Hispanic Medical Assn.; Moms Clean Air Force; American Thoracic Society; Interfaith Power and Light; 223 companies, including, among others, CERES, Unilever, Kellogg, Solar City, and SunPower. Those opposing it must not mind breathing polluted air.
