In the middle and south end of Avalon, on Ocean Drive, the speed limit is not enforced. It is 25 MPH, and the cars and big trucks go North and South on this stretch of road Way Too Fast. Note: The Stone Harbor big trucks can not go off island through Stone Harbor over the 96th st bridge, so they speed on OD through Avalon, to go out on the 30th street Avalon Bridge.
