On Memorial Day in Avalon, a spectator called out to Democratic Club members marching in the parade, "Marxism lives." We have to feel sorry for such individuals. They don't have the common sense to refrain from such an inappropriate comment on a day like Memorial Day. Unable to argue the issues logically or rationally, they are reduced to resorting to inane, nonsensical labels. Republicans complain that Democrats won't reach out to them and compromise. When an individual has such an irrational, undemocratic attitude, there's little point in reaching out.
