Local towns (mostly on the islands) are struggling to figure out how to recruit and retain their poloce officers who keep leaving for agencies farther north. The answer is simple, stop allowing high paid attorneys making deals that look good on paper but cost with high turnover and set a lower bar to hire from the bottom of the barrel while admin protect their own interests. Someone has to tell the emperor he isn’t wearing any clothes.
