In the last 15 years, Trump has repeatedly promised to donate earnings from his enterprises to charity. Had he honored all his pledges, he would have donated more than $8.5 million through his foundation. Instead, public records show that he has donated less than a third of that, $2.8 million. Trump pledged royalties from his first book to fight AIDS and multiple sclerosis, but gave less to those causes than he did to his daughter's ballet school. As far as personal gifts, a search of 167 charities with a link to Trump discovered one lonely gift to a charity since 2008. He's a fraud.
