I've been working since the late 1980's and I don't remember many years when they were worried about an overheating market labor. I do remember being very productive in the eighties, nineties, aughts, teens and twenties. Sure go ahead and enjoy the benefits of the good labor market nowadays, but I'm pretty sure any good markets may disappear at any time. And that good market may be gone for a decade or a generation. As they say, these are the good old days.
