I've been reading some spouts and comments about the condition of our military with some interest. It is extremely foolish to believe that our technology will keep us safe. Technology didn't replace infantry in Fallujah and it won't in thousands of other situations in the future. Technology won't move troops and materiel from one continent to another nor will it stop superior numbers of troops. We were significantly better equipped than the NVA and the Viet Cong but they proved extremely tenacious foes. Our military is in real trouble today.
