It's true that Trump pre-paid $5.2 million in taxes for 2016 and 2017, but that was an estimated amount for those years. When he filed the actual returns for 2016 and 2017 and paid the pittance of $750 each year, the remainder of the $5.2 million - $5.198 million - became a credit for payments in future years, reducing his liability for future payments by that amount. Thus the claim that he paid $5.2 million is false.
