Avalon is permitting a defacto dog park at the 8th street recreation facilities after 5 pm. Frequently a pick up truck arrives and releases, from internal cages 3 or 4 massive dogs to run and use the fields. No leash, no control, no bags to pick up after the dogs. Of course, there are a half dozen other dogs bring “exercised” every evening. This isn’t fair to the people who use the fields. Open your eyes Avalon. If one of those dogs attacks someone you are very liable for not enforcing the rules.
