i was walking the dog near 44th street when i saw a group of kids in the dunes with flashlights, all huddled around something glowing. next thing i know, one of them screams and this little wrinkled thing waddles out and makes a noise like a coffee machine. Must have been a trapped animal they were helping. i just kept walking.
