Having met with British and Canadian politicians, Gov. Christie plans a meeting with China's ambassador. Wouldn't it be helpful for him to meet with Trenton legislators to resolve the bankrupt transportation fund, which expires on June 30? Would it take a tragic bridge collapse in NJ, as happened in Minnesota and Connecticut, to spur Christie's sense of urgency?
