Avalon has always been professionally run for many, many years. They were savvy enough to build their own library, and it is world-class. Their lifeguard house is tiny with no bells and whistles, but yet they have outstanding lifeguards. The recreation department is top-notch, decorations, activities, etc. Volunteer firemen. I could go on and on. I am so sorry we did not buy there.
