In the general populace, beyond his base of fawning supporters, Trump's approval rating plunges dramatically, to an average of 31 percent in recent polls. And his disapproval rating is 63 percent. Women voters in particular are abandoning him in droves because of his inappropriate and insulting remarks about women. So if you want to ensure a Democratic victory in November, by all means make sure that Trump is the Republican nominee.
