The girl friend of a young man who tragically lost his life in an encounter with police told news sources she wants justice. I am sure her grief is tremendous. But this brings about a bigger question; why are people flagrantly violating the law by causing this sort of dangerous mayhem on our streets.? What incredible stretch of the imagination makes this behavior acceptable? And why do we seem so ready to fault the police, whom we have asked to maintain law and order in our society. The reason this young man died was that he was engaged in reckless, unlawful behavior. Let’s stick to facts.
