Like the creek and its banks, the Senate Democrats' situation is not too difficult to navigate. In contrast, the divide for congressional Republicans is more like a chasm - like the Grand Canyon. Their obstacle is Donald Trump's massive ego, his lust for power, and his 100% losing record in candidate endorsements. Congressional Republicans face a far greater challenge because of Trump than Senate Democrats do because of Sinema.
