Consider this. The Constitution sets out four criteria that must be met in order for someone to be president. As directed by the Constitution, a presidential candidate: (1) must be a natural-born citizen of the United States, (2) must be a resident for 14 years, (3) must be 35 years of age or older, and (4) must not, after having sworn an oath to support the Constitution, have engaged in insurrection against the United States.
