In case some of the folks off-shore don't realize it, there are only five hotels/motels in Avalon and they are all located in the narrow confines between the beach and Ocean Drive, and 78th to 80th Street. The Whitebriar condominium at 21st and the beach has not been a hotel for over 20 years and the Princeton at 21st and Dune has been used as a hotel for just about as long. They tore down the Avalon hotel almost 30 years ago and built condos. The people of Avalon think that is more than enough hotels in just the right place.
