Avalon / Burlington - It has been many years since I made my home in Avalon. Returning here, I found many wonderful changes and improvements to the borough. One particular was the magnificent five-star library and the many services they offer to the public. One thing, however, did not change in 30 years is the personnel at the Avalon lifeguard station. It is the same captain running the show. Wolf even promoted his son into a coveted lieutenant position. This is outrageous nepotism. I believe it is high time to bring new blood to run the Avalon lifeguard station. Let good candidates move up.
