An Avalon Spout makes a ridiculous comparison of automotive deaths with gun deaths, and asks the question, "What's the difference of blame?" between the two. That the Spouter has to ask the question tells us that he/she does not have his/her thinking cap on. There are obviously a number of differences. Mainly, the vast number of auto deaths are accidents in which the driver or the driver and passenger(s) are the victims. A logical comparison would be if the 20,000+ victims of gun violence were the shooters themselves. Also, gun violence is a crime; auto accidents are just that: accidents.
