Avalon has delayed the north end drainage project due to the expense. Do we ever get a second engineering opinion? The town has averaged nearly 5% increases each year as tax rate increases for the past 5 years. Let’s not spend our income each year and start to plan for essential land value and safety projects. Let’s challenge the Borough leadership to create a plan to save 15% of the existing operating budget moving forward as a start . The flood plan should be a strategic plan for all of Avalon.
