The 306 electoral votes makes sense too. It looks like Biden's popular vote margin of victory will end up 4 million+ larger than Hillary's. 100,000 of those were sufficient to turn Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania blue, with plenty left over. It appears a strategy of targeting swing states resulted in wins in Arizona and Georgia too. Hillary famously didn't campaign in Wisconsin and I believe her campaign was too busy not running through the tape to figure out electoral math. Team Red couldn't rely on such incompetance striking twice
