Americans should be taught more history. They should learn about the Greeks and Romans, as well as Irish and English history. Whoever took it out of the curricula really short-changed us. I dare you to find one kid under 21 who can give a good 2 or 3 sentence description of / summary of the significance of Julius Caesar, or name any important Irishman in history, or tell you any basic facts about any of the English dynasties. Not 2 out of 10, or more rather, probably not 1 out of 10 could do it. It's nearly like the Soviets took over.
