As per the article in The Herald on affordable housing in the county. Look what so-called affordable housing brought to many of our cities and do we really want that type of element here. I do not. Year-round rental properties in our area have changed to vacation rental properties because the year-round rental element ruined their homes and the Sheriff's Department had their hands full with so many evictions of the year rounders. We had neighbors that were year-round renters, and the police were constantly there. Thankfully they are gone. Again, keep that element out of the county.
