As a result of the shooting in Minnesota, the country needs to have a serious and candid conversation to save lives. The conversation is not about the police use of force, but a more important topic, the legal obligation of citizens to comply with law enforcement. The woman from Minneapolis would be alive today if she simply fulfilled her legal obligation to comply with the police. There is a legal and safe protocol to lodge a complaint against the police. Failing to follow that protocol needlessly exposes everyone to danger. Comply now, complain later.
