As a 40-year Union member and organizer, I can no longer support the democratic party and I find it hard for any of my brother’s and sister’s still supporting a party promoting universal heath care. Do they realize that this would eliminate all private health insurance companies, which our union benefits fall under? We fought hard for those benefits and want to retain them, but voting for democratic candidates, our benefits are in jeopardy. Will they go for our pensions next? The democrats have lost their way and are no longer in the working man and women’s corner.
