Are we living in the same world as Trump? The US he talked about doesn’t look much like the US I’m living in. Here in the real world, everything is still too dang expensive. Groceries are up. Health insurance premiums are rising. Rent is unaffordable for so many. Seniors are worried about prescription prices, and small-business owners are getting crushed by higher and higher costs. But listening to him you’d think we’re in the middle of some golden age where everybody can spend their days playing golf and building ballrooms. I don’t know.
