So let me get this straight: the Township is hiring someone with no government experience into a higher position than the clerks already doing the job? Meanwhile, they're still fighting over retro pay for current clerks, who will probably end up training the new hire. Makes perfect sense. Maybe start people at entry level and let them earn promotions like everyone else.
