Anglesea - I am a proud Irish-American (Scots-Irish to be exact). With all of the uproar over the VA blackface issue, I am puzzled. The greater issue to me is the inexcusable racism that occurs every March 17. Orange wigs, green beer, t-shirts, and rowdiness. Not to mention that everyone assumes I am a drunk (I only drink on Tuesdays). We need to rise up and demand justice. Think of the elderly when you make your plans this March 17.
