America is about defending democracy, human rights, and the rule of law. DJT's admiration of and relationship with authoritarian/mafia don Putin swaps out our American value-based roots with DJT's own personal and self-enriching transactional approach. Now the "leader of the free world" is a purely self-interested actor, who values personal deals (note that his political ones never really work out; see Gaza and Ukraine) over the health of democracy and "we the people".
