A word of warning to residents on the West side, especially along W. New York, Utah, and Ohio. Land is being taken by developers and approved by Lower Township officials faster than most people realize. What’s at risk appears to be some of the last remaining green space on the West side. Once it’s gone, it’s gone for good. Pay attention, ask questions, and speak up, wetlands have not stopped local approvals before. At this pace we risk flooding problems like those seen in heavily developed areas such as Avalon & Stone Harbor. Protect it at all costs.
