A letter to the editor blasted Van Drew. I'm an Independent and am wary of politicians on both sides of the aisle, but I have found Van Drew to be the most responsive of any. If I contact his office I get an email or sometimes even a phone call from him personally. For many years when I've contacted our Dem Senators--crickets. Even if I ask for a reply. Oh, they've added me to their propaganda email list, but have never addressed my concerns. I appreciate that the Congressman and his staff seem to respect his constituents.
