A big part of the funding picture in Lower Township is declining enrollment. The district has gone from 1,790 students in 2014-15 to 1,370 this year, and that kind of drop affects funding. They also have to make thoughtful decisions that protect the long-term future of the district while keeping taxpayers in mind.
