10/26/26: As per the article in The Herald on the Crest Pier being extended and making it once again a pier where we can fish again. Well done! I grew up here and back in the 60's, not only was the Pier a great fishing spot but we it was also a great surfing break. We would spend hours there catching waves and those memories still are fresh in our minds. We kept our distance from the anglers, so everyone got their chances to enjoy both fishing and catching waves. I'm so happy to read the great article on the Pier. A bit too old now to catch waves but I still love to fish! Can't wait!
