Cape May - For a city that labels itself a great Christmas season destination, there is a serious shortage of decorated homes in the historic district. Many bed and breakfasts have been converted to condos or single-family homes and they are now dark in the offseason. Even our centerpiece, Rotary Park, was haphazardly decorated by public works employees. Next year, we should recruit art students or volunteers from civic groups to make a better presentation.
