Cape May / Bala Cynwyd - Cape May is short-sighted in their attempt to change the LCMR funding formula. The marine and fishing industry is a major driver of tourism to the lower Cape May area. With the downturn in the economy, along with higher fuel prices, do they really want to make this industry less competitive? With the increased property taxes that would result in the Township of Lower, the residents will have less to spend on activities, and marine-related industries will suffer.
